Why would I just delete it if I'm interested in the topic?  I thought we were all mature enough to have controversial discussions without anyone getting upset at one another.  I suppose not.  But I am not afraid to disagree with others.  If everyone agreed with everyone else, what would be the point of a "discussion".  We are NOT all the same, and therefore we are not all going to have the same thoughts, opinions, ideas, and theories.  Deal with it.  Sorry, Joe, but you need to realize that everyone cannot be exactly like you and everyone is not always going to agree with you.  You need to learn how to deal with controversy without getting upset and taking everything personally.
